6 Months in a Leaky Boat

When I was a young boy
I wanted to sail around the world
That's the life for me...

This entry is going to be one of the fastest I have ever written.
I received a message from a friend asking me why I had not blogged in ages...

To be frank, my priority has not been to update my blog.

Is that a good or bad thing?

In fact, what I have been doing is living in my life...

IT'S BEEN CRAZY!

I have finished one job, commenced a new one and started my course of study for attempting the PhD. I have moved house, been 'involved' in a ridiculous, one sided, relationship - in which delusion keeps smacking me in the head like I am one of those toy drinking birds that is a perpetual state of motion... with very little purpose and fundamentally, (if you look at it without the psychologically fitted lens)  it fits into the category of 'STUPIDITY'.

At the bottom of the world
The tyranny of distance
Didn't stop the cavalier
So why should it stop me...

So I get on with the papers that I have been required to deliver for the purpose gaining conversion to the PhD from the initial research subject I requested to undertake until my supervisor arrives from the University of London in November.

I am teaching Enlgish and Law at a Secondary School in Melbourne. I have always enjoyed teaching - however - this job is amazing...

So, these are the reasons and I do hope I get back to it because my direction has been off kilter for some time...

Ship-wrecked love can be cruel
Don't be fooled by her kind
There's a wind in my sails
Will protect and prevail
I just spent six months in a leaky boat...

Hope you're all well and thanks for the messages...

Cheers
Steve
